As I have grown to know the LORD with each tiny step, He encourages me to let go of expectations of myself, old habits, ways of the past.

I have spent so much of my life 'trying' to please others and never felt like I was good enough. Now I know I am the LORD's and do not need to please others. In my relationship with the LORD, I am more the person of Christ, thus pleasing Him and those with whom I am entrusted. Those I don't please, it is because they do not want to see Christ. It is Him and not me that they do not like. I just happen to be the earthly one they see. This is okay. God is using me to touch lives.

Being good enough no longer is an issue as God created me and knows my very best. The closer I walk with Him, the more I become that very best. He is the One with Whom I walk and talk.

He teaches me to be the creation of His own hands, praying to Him from my heart. He molded this heart and as I come to trust Him more and more, I talk much more openly to Him. I am not so afraid to lie face down in prayer, that someone might see me. I am praying for needs, but also with love and adoration, so my prayers do not sound just like a laundry list. I read with enthusiasm to be taught by the LORD Himself. I adore Him with the heart He made and with the love He gives me. I am taking new steps in boldness because I desire to grown in the LORD.

These are lifelong lessons which I desire to take daily.

Thank You, Precious LORD.

Well said, Linda. Thank you for your post!

You are most welcome and I appreciate you commenting. Your words made me reread my own words. Sevana, I needed to read them again.
May He lead us always as we walk with Him.
Caring through Christ, ~ linda
