I'm a homeschooling mom of 3 girls. I love what Catherine wrote about how she collects memorials(of the location she chooses) when making commitments to the Lord. What a great idea! I want to use this idea in a practical way to teach my 3 girls about their commitment to loving the Lord. Any suggestions on where I could take them? Somewhere local, not too expensive, etc?

Hi, I'm a homeschooling mom of three too!
I have used locations in a different way--choosing a place I drove past each day to be my place of thankfulness, for example. When I was engaged to my husband and wishing we were married, I chose one stop sign on my way to work each day to be my place to say "Thank You Lord that I am here today in the place You want me to be." Perhaps you could use a park with a quiet corner where you can pray together and make a commitment to the Lord? -------------------- You have encircled me; You have placed Your hand on me. Psalm 139:5
